South Korea Successfully Develops New Materials for Lithium-Sulfur Battery Electrodes

Recently, the team of Professor Jin Dingjing of the Department of New Materials Engineering of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) has developed a new lithium-sulfur secondary battery electrode material that can capture sulfur between carbon fibers. The capillary absorption of water. This research is the core business of climate change research at the EEWS Research Center, and it is also a backbone research support business of the Korea Research Foundation. This lithium-sulfur battery has the advantages of low weight and high capacity and is expected to be commercialized. This research result has been published in the 18th issue of the International Academic Journal "Nano Letter" in 2018.
